supplying artwork

Whether your supplying artwork for annual reports, brochures, flyers, leaflets, presentation folders, business stationery or even posters, please ensure all fonts and pictures used in your artwork is supplied to us in a separate folder and compress the document using stuffit or winzip before uploading.

Please supply a screen shot or a PDF. This is for our reference to make sure that nothing is missing or moved on the artwork when supplying PDF files – We request that all artwork is supplied as high resolution 300dpi. Select these options for commercial print best results.

  1. Choose High Resolution
  2. Compression settings ( auto compression set on high)
  3. Embed all fonts

Colour needs to be set as CMYK not RGB

InDesign – under “file” menu select “package”

Quark – under “file” menu select – collect for output

Illustrator – Include all embedded images and convert all text to outline. Save as eps file

Photoshop – Resolution set as 300dpi – Save file as tif or jpeg.

Note – We cannot make changes to your artwork/ flattened images, you must re-supply new artwork as either PSD,PDF or All Files.

Imposition – Please do not supply your files imposed or as printers

Bleed – It is essential that there is 3mm bleed around your art work e.g. A4 = 216mm x 303mm

We can not use the following formats for printing ;-

  • Word
  • Excel
  • Publisher
  • Power Point
  • Works

By using www.convert.neevia.com you can convert any of the above files into a useable PDF.

IF design work is required we charge @ £40 per hour.
